Movement Lessons  

Transformational movement lessons, or TML’s can happen in a group or one-on-one. Normally these would always happen in person but since the pandemic, they have also very successfully been conducted over zoom, making them much more accessible to a wider audience.

In a movement lesson, you will be guided through a series of gentle movements in either lying, sitting or standing to help you gain greater awareness and understanding of how you move.

While paying close attention to the variations in each movement, your brain will create new neural pathways leading to easier movement and an improved feeling of self. Some of the movements will seem easy, some difficult or maybe some will be impossible to accomplish at first.

The important thing is to go through the process of learning without straining and going with where its easy.

As your brain adapts, learns and organizes itself, each movement will hopeful become easier. Even doing the movements in your imagination can have surprising results.

Positive changes may include pain relief, increased ease of movement, better balance and a sense of well-being.

As well as the lessons being of benefit to the participant, for those adults who have children having hands-on lessons, it is a wonderful way to understand some of the movements that underpin the hands-on work that their children will be experiencing

It is recommended that you wear loose, comfortable clothing that does not restrict your movements in any way.
