About Me
About Me
Based in: New York, USA | Languages: English | Experience: 31 years
Sharon first encountered the Feldenkrais Method® in 1987 while working as a professional dancer seeking relief from chronic back pain. Captivated by its intelligence and precision, she later became a Guild Certified Feldenkrais Practitioner in 1993.
In 2006, Sharon completed the ABM® NeuroMovement® Children’s Mastery training with Anat Baniel, deepening her understanding of how movement, attention, and variation can transform the brain’s capacity to learn and reorganise. She later joined the ABM® NeuroMovement® Professional Training faculty and has served as a lead Trainer in New York and internationally.
Sharon’s teaching is rooted in clarity and sensitivity. She draws on decades of experience to create lessons that are both highly specific and deeply responsive — meeting each client where they are and guiding them toward new levels of comfort, coordination, and presence.
She continues to travel regularly to the UK, Europe, and Turkey, where she is one of the most sought-after visiting practitioners.
“Each small change in movement opens a door to greater freedom — physical, emotional, and cognitive.”
